Privacy notice
How we handle personal data sent to us through this website.
Version 2026-10 · last updated October 2026
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is DMC KOREA TRAVEL Technology Co., Ltd. ((주)디엠씨코리아트레블테크놀로지), 203, 79-8, Seobaek-gil, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon State, Republic of Korea. Business registration no. 406-81-07103. Representative: Park Jun (박준), Representative Director.
For anything about your data, write to info@dmckoreatravel.com.
2. What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, country, company or organisation (if you give one), travel dates, number of guests, the programme and interests you select, and your message. We also record the time of your enquiry and the version of this notice you agreed to. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type). We use them only for security and for finding faults, and we keep them for a limited period.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal. This is a step taken at your request before an agreement is made (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For agencies and companies it is also our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Security of this website (access logs): our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.
4. Who receives it
Enquiries are stored on our own server in Korea and read by our staff. We use an email service for our correspondence with you. When we arrange hotels, transport, guides, tours or other services for your programme, we pass on only what each provider needs, such as guest names and travel dates, and only once we are arranging the service.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies. See the cookie page.
6. Transfers outside your country
Your enquiry is processed in the Republic of Korea. The European Commission has decided that Korea ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data (Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/254 of 17 December 2021), so these transfers need no further safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for 36 months (three years) after our last contact with you, and then delete it. If we make an agreement, we keep the records that the law requires us to keep for as long as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a common format, and to object to our use of it. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. Write to info@dmckoreatravel.com and we will reply within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or in Korea to the Personal Information Protection Commission.
9. Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date.
